The faster I run, The faster I get to rest
My legs are fully capable of doing this race. The tired feeling I'm getting now is simply the feeling of body working. The mind is trained to keep the body feeling rested, which goes against all laws of cross country. If I keep my mind out of the way, and just let my legs do their work, then I can finish the race strong and hard. That's my mental thoughts.
Really I think if the motivation is strong enough then you work towards it. I seriously can stop moving and my mind thinks that. So I keep running/moving. Unless I have shin splints and cramping. Plus the feling of achievement and to your motivation
The point of motivation is the urge to succeed, the urge to get the work done. If you are motivated enough, I believe that you can accomplish it as long as you try hard enough. Yes, you can stop moving, but that isn't your goal, is it? Your goal is to finish the race hard. If you have cramps and shin splints, tough it out. Just don't stop moving. I frown at people who walk too, because the point of cross country running is simply that, to run.
